Two of Team Jordan’s signature players will be in action on Christmas Day in Los Angeles with their special Christmas edition colorways of their exclusive kicks on their feet. On perhaps the biggest day for the NBA’s regular season, Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks will face off against the Lakers at the Staples Center in the early afternoon followed by Chris Paul and his Clippers hosting the Denver Nuggets later that night in the same arena. Both the Melo M9 and the CP3.VI have identical white/gorge green-dark grey-gym red Christmas colorways. Simple white and grey uppers allow the minimal use of the green and red colors to pop. Both shoes include reflective elephant print 3M material on their uppers and multi colored green and red heel tabs. Both sets of shoes also come with a pack of grey, green, or red laces and a festive Christmas insole. We’ll see which laces Paul and Anthony decide to break out for their nationally televised games.

While the CP3.VI has been out for a couple of months now in a number of colorways, the Melo M9 will make its debut with this release today. Carmelo began the NBA season with his Melo M8 Advance. The Knicks colorway of the M9 is scheduled to release next month.
