The newest installment of the Los Angeles Clippers’ Chris Paul signature line will drop today courtesy of Jordan Brand. Fresh off of a Gold Medal in London, Paul’s first colorway of the Jordan CP3.VI will be a USA inspired one. Worn in the Gold Medal game against Spain by Paul, the USA inspired colorway is officially a white/gym red-midnight navy release. A white Hyperfuse and mesh upper gives way to some midnight navy patent leather towards the ankle and heel. Gym red accents can be found on the CP3 branding on the tongue, on the inner lining, and on the Jordan Jumpman on the outside of the shoe. Like the CP3.V, the CP3.VI has zonal cutouts on each side of the shoe. The tongue is midnight Navy, as well as parts of the midsole. The pair comes with your choice of red, white, or blue laces.

Chris Paul’s signature shoes have always had a number of personal touches on them. The CP3.VI is no different. The most obvious touch is on the tongue of the shoe where there are six lines which represent the number of signature shoes that Paul has released. The shoe’s overall look is inspired by the original Air Jordan XIII, paying homage to the pair that Paul had stolen from him when he was younger. The shoe lace tips have two area codes on them, 310 and 336. The first is the area code of Los Angeles where Paul currently plays. The second is the area code of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, CP’s hometown. The outsole around the midfoot corresponds to the lace tips where there are maps of the areas of Los Angeles around the Staples Center and of the neighborhood around West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, NC.
Info for the above details was found at ESPN.
